Bobawendé
We saw the deliverance of a young boy who was extremely sick. Bobawendé, a seven year old village boy who had a terrible infection, was taken to a clinic an hour and a half away by car from the village. His face was swollen so that he could hardly open his eyes. His arms and legs were swollen. His sickness could not be treated in Saonré because this happened before our Ellel Medical Center was built. He was kept overnight for tests and treatment and given medicine. The doctors said they didn't know what was wrong with him. He has no family except for an old grandmother who finds it difficult to care for him. Before returning Bobawendé to the village, ACTS Executive Director Joanna Ilboudo talked with him about the Lord. It is with gladness that I tell you, he accepted the Lord and promised to attend church in the village. Today he is well and attends the ACTS school. This is what makes meals shipped from mission organizations in the US so vital to the well-being of the village children who attend ACTS schools.
