JOCELYN KAM, AN EXCEPTIONAL STUDENTJocelyn Kamwas named ACTS' "best student of the 2010-2011 academic year."
Jocelyn is an honor student, finishing the year with high marks on the required government sponsored exams. Jocelyn is also a member of the ACTS student worship team. The team provides music for school devotions, special music at church and is in demand for community functions.
The spiritual, moral and academic growth of students confirms ACTS' vision for students--to train children to be intelligent, strong, upright leaders in the community. Jocelyn was baptized with 178 adults and children at Temple Evangélique El Roï in November of 2010. Jocelyn has been living at the Hope Center Orphanage for four years now. After her baptism Jocelyn said:
Children and adults baptized at Temple Evangélique El Roï come from various backgrounds... some come from Muslim families and some from animist families. We know that it is only by God’s power that we can win the battle for the lives of children.
